Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked news european commission the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
